06 February 2019
Dear West View family
We’re already into the second month of 2019, and there is much information to share with you. The Holy Spirit is bringing transformation to lives and communities through us. What a privilege to be God’s hands, feet, eyes, ears and heart!
The journey of Confirmation is about to begin anew, and is open to all learners from Grade 10 to Grade 12. We will be having an information evening for parents and potential confirmands on Wednesday the 13th of February at 18h00. Confirmation itself will begin on Sunday 17th February at 16h00.
MINISTRY EXPO ON 17th FEBRUARY
Stay after church at all 3 services on 17th February to familiarise yourself with all the ministries of West View at the MINISTRY EXPO. If, following the Covenant Service, you are still seeking God’s guidance on where to serve God at West View, then this is your chance to talk to volunteers in each ministry, check out the displays, and sign up to make a difference for God in 2019. If you’re already serving God at West View, let the displays inspire you to prayerful support for ministries you are not directly involved in. Food and Cooldrinks will be on sale, and the jumping castle will be up after the morning services for the kids to enjoy. The day will be a wonderful expression of our current preaching series on “Fruitfulness”.

FAMILY HIKE AT HENNOPS RIVER HIKING TRAIL ON SATURDAY 16th FEBRUARY
Your tithes and offerings in January were 5% ahead of our budgeted amount of R460 000/month, at R485 000. Thank you for your joyful, sacrificial giving towards God’s work at West View. This is a great way to start 2019, and helps us to play catch up on the 2018 shortfall. Let’s keep it up!
Thank you to all of you who submitted your membership commitment form for 2019. We are busy collating the responses, and those who requested somebody to contact them will be contacted during February
