16 January 2019
Dear West View family
I hope that each of you have had a great start to 2019. May the year to come be a year of God’s goodness and grace in your lives.
John Wesley’s first Covenant Renewal Services were held at 4am on 1st January in icy cold London! Whilst we don’t follow his example in the date, time or temperature of our Covenant Services, we treasure this practice of dedicating ourselves afresh to God near the start of every year. Our Covenant Renewal Services are this Sunday 20th January at all 3 services. Here is a study guide to help you to prepare for the Covenant Service. https://www.rootsontheweb.com/content/PDFs/346041/Methodist_Covenant_Prayer_study.pdf

Thank you for opening your hearts and purses to the vulnerable children served by Epworth Children’s Village. Your Christmas offering of R26 000 will make a huge difference to them!
Tithes and Offerings during 2018 averaged R461 000/month. Our 2019 budget is a conservative one, requiring R460 000/month in tithes and offerings. Let’s make 2019 the year in which we exceed budgeted tithes and offerings, and so be in a position to grow God’s Kingdom and bring God’s life change in new and exciting ways.
Grace and Peace
