 Dear West View family

I greet you in the name of Jesus

FEEDBACK FROM ‘IT’S TIME’ PRAYER RALLY
Over 50 West View members travelled by bus from West View to Bloemfontein to participate in the Angus Buchan Prayer Rally. Feedback from those who attended this momentous event has been inspiring. In addition, over 150 West View members gathered to pray in the West View sanctuary on Saturday afternoon. We spent over an hour interceding for our nation, and I was uplifted by the passionate prayers offered in faith. Our history as a nation gives witness to the fact that when God’s people both pray and work for justice and peace, God performs miracles that offer hope and a future. Let’s keep praying and working for South Africa to reflect Kingdom principles. Thank you to Men@Work for organising the bus, and to Alveen Jacobs for leading our prayer meeting so powerfully.

DATE NIGHT: SOME LIKE IT HOT ON MONDAY 19th MAY; 19h00
We’re partnering with Focus on the Family for a screening of Date Night: Some Like It Hot. The evening will help married couples to discover the principles of great sex in a godly marriage. It seeks to equip couples by exploring what Scripture says about sex in marriage. Click here for a video promo http://www.westview.org.za/index.php/news-events/news . Childcare will be available. ACCOMMODATION NEEDED FOR 4G STUDENTS
We’re looking for accommodation for four of the 4G Youth Pastor students who will be attending 4G during May. Students will provide their own transport and food – they just need a place to stay overnight between lectures. The dates are 8th – 11th May, and 15th – 18th May. Should you be able to assist, please contact James on 012 660 2572 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

MAY TITHE MONTH
During May, we’re challenging you to give 10% of your income to God’s work at West View. Over the years, it has been humbling to see how you as a congregation have responded to this challenge, with May’s income going a long way to eliminating the shortfall of the difficult first few months of every year. Here is a summary of tithes and offerings for the first 3 months of 2017.
