• Rooted Youth
Where life change happens for our youth

In this fast changing, exciting and unpredictable time we find ourselves, we believe that it is God’s will to see young people empowered, strengthened, encouraged and connected to a community that will walk their own unique journey of life becoming the men and women that God has called them to be.

Rooted Youth is the vibrant and dynamic place that our young people here at West View call home.

    The 3 G Connection

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

                                                                                                                                               Colossians 2:6-7

We are rooted in Jesus Christ and make Him the centre of all we do as we pursue the deepening of our relationship and intimacy with Him.

We believe all truth flows from Him and we journey together growing n knowledge, wisdom, character and love.

We are intentional about being the presence of the God to all people around us; displaying Gods love, kindness and forgiveness.

So why is ROOTED the place be:

If you are looking for a place where you meet amazing people, have great worship, be encouraged, motivated and supported, then you have come to the right place. There is something for everyone!

  • Our Youth Ministry has a dedicated team of volunteers who are determined to ensure that all our young people feel welcomed, are empowered and encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ. We are privileged to have a team of volunteers ranging from different backgrounds, ages and with experience in walking a journey with teenagers. Our volunteers range from high school teachers, varsity students, young couples and peers who have a passion to see young people’s lives being transformed by Christ.

  • Each term we plan and go on various outreaches with the aim of adding value to our community and using the giftings that God has blessed us with.

The main projects that we assist with is ditshego House of Laughter (Preschool and Place of Safety).

  • We have regular events that enable us to connect with one another and with other youth groups in our community. Join us on our camps, Friday night events, Sports, LAN Wars and other exciting events.
